Alpinist 19 has a written account from Charlie Fowler of a gnarly fall he took from the North Chimney on the Diamond in 1984. He walked away from that incident unscathed, but died in December along with Christine Boskoff during a discovery expedition in China. Fowler’s body was recovered in avalanche debris. Boskoff’s remains are yet to be unearthed.
