Rockin! The biners are darn light!

Funny as much as I’m good at being open to doing new things and taking advice from others to go fast. I didn’t break the habit of picking up biners that others left behind.- On the record run of 2:43:33 I picked up 3 leaver biners. When I got home I weighed them on a postal scale and found them to EACH weigh more than the two CAMP Nano 23s and their quickdraw sling! Duh! I’ll try not to pick up the biners when we go to knock the record further down in the fall.

Light is right! We pushed to take the least amount of weight we could on our record 2:43:33 run up The Nose of El Capitan. The Camp Nano 23s kept our biner intensive rack, light and right. Hard to believe that the quick draw with both CAMP Nano 23s weighs less than a single old school carabiner. That’s cutting your biner weight on a big wall by more than half!
