Climbing is dangerous. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser or user of any C.A.M.P. technical adventure equipment to get proper instruction and to act safely and in accordance with the uses and specifications outlined by C.A.M.P. in its product literature. It is your responsibility to learn how to use the product safely. Product instruction manuals are available for download on all relevant product pages. Inspect your gear before each use. If you notice what might be a problem, seek a professional opinion before continuing use of the product. Check sewn goods for excessive abrasion, frayed or cut stitching and overall integrity. Check hardware for cracks, fissures, dents, loose parts and general smooth operation. Check carabiners for excessive wear and tear where the rope settles or is made to run. Check crampons and axes for excessive dulling and for any bends, cracks or fissures. Check helmets for any depressions and check the integrity of the foam for any compression (compressed areas will no longer absorb the energy of an impact) or cracks. C.A.M.P. technical adventure equipment must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and only for the specified purpose for which it was designed. C.A.M.P. shall not be liable for any consequential damages, injury, paralysis or death arising from any use or misuse of its products. In using C.A.M.P. equipment, you (the customer) assume the responsibilities of ownership and operation, and you agree to hold harmless C.A.M.P. USA, C.A.M.P. SpA, owners, partners and employees for any incident or action involving the use of C.A.M.P. products.


C.A.M.P. warrants that its product will meet the specifications stated in the instructions and C.A.M.P. agrees to replace the product free of charge if the product does not conform to the specifications. Notice for replacement must be given within 60 days of the discovery of the defect.

In consideration of the above warranties by C.A.M.P., the customer agrees to and accepts the following conditions:

  • That this warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied;
  • That the buyer’s sole remedy shall be to obtain replacement of the product free of charge from C.A.M.P.; and

That this remedy is in lieu of all other remedies or claims for damages, consequential or otherwise, which the buyer may have against C.A.M.P.

C.A.M.P. shall have no liability for:

  • Any loss or injury caused, in whole or in part, by its actions, omissions, or negligence, or for contingencies beyond its control, in procuring, compiling, or delivering the Information;
  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the Information regardless of how caused, or delays or interruptions in delivery of the Information; or
  • Any decision made or action taken or not taken in reliance upon the Information furnished hereunder.

C.A.M.P. equipment is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of shipping. During the warranty period the unit will be repaired or replaced by C.A.M.P. at no charge as long as the unit has not suffered accidental damage, abuse, abnormal wear and tear, or misapplication. Such damage will be repaired at the purchaser’s expense. Opening or altering the Product in any away voids this warranty.The warranty extends only to you, the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the C.A.M.P. equipment from you.
